My son took his cell phone because I had to fly him to Georgia the next day & we were told he wouldn't get it back till the 8th. It's due to miscomunication like this that cost me $500.00 in a one way airfare just to have him catch up to the rest of the kids. The bus in Lantanan was not suposed to leave before 10:00. Atleast that's what I was told, that we had between 9 & 9:30 to get there. we arrived at 9:20 and the bus was gone could anyone confirm for me what time the bus actually left Lantana. It would help me alot to know that all of us that caravaned there to see him off were not loosing it. And that all of our clocks were not wrong.

the kids just called from the bus. this is for any parents whose cadets didn't/couldn't get through. Lantanna pick-up time is now 11 pm.

Are there any other parents who might want to drive up for the ceremonies but are reluctant because of the length of the drive? I am thinking about going, but I can't make that drive alone and wouldn't mind sharing the driving. I am picking up 2 cadets, and my SUV seats 7. I am in Palm Beach County, FL, (Boynton Beach) if anyone is interested.

The pictures posted are just repeats of pictures you already posted on Friday. Is it possible to get more close ups so that we can identify faces. The faces are unidentifyable. I think I see my son (Cadet L. Thompson) but not sure if he is in any of your pictures. This is his first time attending an encampment or being away from home. So we have no idea what is going on. Would be nice to have some text under the pictures so we know what's happening, & who's in them. The chaplin called me the first day with my son crying on the phone of back ache & that he misses home. Chaplin said he was a little home sick & just needed to hear my voice. Ever since that call we've been worried sick it would be nice to see a photto of him with a smile on his face or socializing or anything. Has anyone else gotten a call from the chaplin.

Anyone have any idea how we are going to know what time to pick them up when their bus returns to Lantana airport? I kind of wish I had let him bring his cell phone!
