I have been looking for a shot of cadet Robertson. I think I have a couple idendtified, but not sure. Will the photos be labled with cadets names? Or will there be photos of their group. Cadet Robertson is in the Tyndall Squadron.

I am also a volunteer for CAP but very new as Public Affairs Officer. My daughter really loved the encampment, and is already making plans to go to other camps. She has become more independent since day one of her return. So my thanks goes to all the staff, tech's, and leaders of this encampment.
I have one problem to solve. Other than receiving her ceremonial graduation certificate. Her diving watch was taken from her as contoban by her tech sgt. This tech sgt is the same person who called me at 9:30 PM on the 3rd to tell me the plans had changed and I was to pick up my daughters luggage along with the other group of girls I was to take home at 7:30 AM. I arrived at 7AM starting my trip earlier at 3AM than planned on the morning of the fourth. To find out the luggage was not ready and I could not get into the barricks and get the luggage. I worked through the details and did get the luggage. Thirdly, I would like to get my daughter's watch returned to her. She is very upset that she asked upon leaving for the watch repeatedly and it was promised to her but not returned. Please call me regarding an address or ship with graduation papers. My son took his cell phone because I had to fly him to Georgia the next day & we were told he wouldn't get it back till the 8th. It's due to miscomunication like this that cost me $500.00 in a one way airfare just to have him catch up to the rest of the kids. The bus in Lantanan was not suposed to leave before 10:00. Atleast that's what I was told, that we had between 9 & 9:30 to get there. we arrived at 9:20 and the bus was gone could anyone confirm for me what time the bus actually left Lantana. It would help me alot to know that all of us that caravaned there to see him off were not loosing it. And that all of our clocks were not wrong.

Are there any other parents who might want to drive up for the ceremonies but are reluctant because of the length of the drive? I am thinking about going, but I can't make that drive alone and wouldn't mind sharing the driving. I am picking up 2 cadets, and my SUV seats 7. I am in Palm Beach County, FL, (Boynton Beach) if anyone is interested.

The pictures posted are just repeats of pictures you already posted on Friday. Is it possible to get more close ups so that we can identify faces. The faces are unidentifyable. I think I see my son (Cadet L. Thompson) but not sure if he is in any of your pictures. This is his first time attending an encampment or being away from home. So we have no idea what is going on. Would be nice to have some text under the pictures so we know what's happening, & who's in them. The chaplin called me the first day with my son crying on the phone of back ache & that he misses home. Chaplin said he was a little home sick & just needed to hear my voice. Ever since that call we've been worried sick it would be nice to see a photto of him with a smile on his face or socializing or anything. Has anyone else gotten a call from the chaplin.

I know you've been working very hard to post and repost photos and reorganize this page, but could you please assign one of the three cadet PAOs to post some simple text -- easier than photos and much more useful to more parents and others outside Ft. Benning? Even posting the orders of the day to provide the schedule of activities would be greatly appreciated. Posting the merits/demerits points of inspection results for the squadrons, even listing who is assigned to night watch duty that night would be terrific. Really would appreciate anything you could do to provide text -- EVEN AS A SIMPLE COMMENT/BLOG here. Thanks much. & HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL AT ENCAMPMENT.
