Jan 3 2007, 7:22 PM EST My son took his cell phone because I had to fly him to Georgia the next day & we were told he wouldn't get it back till the 8th. It's due to miscomunication like this that cost me $500.00 in a one way airfare just to have him catch up to the rest of the kids. The bus in Lantanan was not suposed to leave before 10:00. Atleast that's what I was told, that we had between 9 & 9:30 to get there. we arrived at 9:20 and the bus was gone could anyone confirm for me what time the bus actually left Lantana. It would help me alot to know that all of us that caravaned there to see him off were not loosing it. And that all of our clocks were not wrong. 0 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jan 4 2007, 2:09 PM EST The lantana bus left promplty at 9:30.....Lt. Johnson from LANTANA Squad called meon Christmas Day and told us to have the kids there by 8:30....They were leaving at 9:30...with or without a full bus.... At 9:00 they loaded gear and all the kids and at 9:15 they were ready,,,but they told us (parents) that they were missing 2 cadets and they were calling them.... a few showed up shortly after that...BUT at 9;30,,,they rolled out! We (the Parents) were told....to go home enjoy the peace and quiet for the week and they would take care of our children... then the shut the doors turn the movies on in the bus...and off they went.... Sorry you missed the bus.... Do you find this valuable? |

Jan 4 2007, 9:56 PM EST Thanks for the info, after speacking to some of the parents and with your reply we did conclude that the big bus we passed right on the i-95 overpass was the bus we missed. It was a great experience for my son and definately worth the money spent. How'd yours do? Do you find this valuable? |
